Not the most thrilling of Top Gun meetings, but entertaining non-the-less. Kasper Andersen's withdrawal was a great shame, but great news for his replacement Jordan Stewart. Ellis Perks was also missing due to the rescheduling of Leicester's match from the previous day. Zaine Kennedy and Drew Kemp were both expected to experiment with different machines and set-ups but they both made it to the final along with Jordan and Jedd List, on balance probably the top four from the field. Jedd executed a brilliant first bend to lead the final but Jordan blasts high and wide. Drew is holding the tighter line and has both of the leaders in his sights. Jordan's high line pays dividends and he takes the lead and switches to the tighter line and Zaine leaves it late but rounds Drew on the last lap to make it an all Australian rostrum. Jedd List was a worthy second and also decimated Joe Jacobs junior track record which has stood since September 2012.
