James Grieves leads Emiliano Ricky passed Josef Franc around the outside on the pits bend on his way to winning heat 1, although Ben was stitched up on the first turn and struggled to recover. The Tigers reserves led the way in heat 2 and team rode to a well deserved 5-1 ahead of the ever challenging Chris Mills. While Kyle looked very comfortable leading heat 3, Emiliano was just the opposite especially after he bounced off the fence going into turn one on the second lap (pictured left, trailing Adam McKinna). André scorched away into the lead in heat 4 but Mark made a poor start and couldn't find his way around James Grieves. Christian Henry wobbled as he entered turn three on the second lap of heat 5 and baled out just as he hit the fence. After lying very still on the track for quite a while he was able to walk back to the pits nursing no worse than bruises. Emiliano and Kyle took another maximum heat win in the restart to leave the Tigers eight points ahead.

Ben and Ricky set for another 5-1 Ben Wilson made a much better start in heat 6 and with Ricky riding shotgun (pictured right) the lead was extended into double figures. André made another cracking start to lead heat 7 from George Stancl, and the heat was shared when Chris Mills powered past Cooperman on the second turn. Ben Wilson showed a clean pair of heels to Christian in heat 8, but Mark was last into the first turn and never looked like catching Chris. Emiliano and Kyle took an easy win from James in heat 9. The referee called all four riders back at the start of heat 10 just as George's machine expired. Mounted on Josef's machine George was left chasing the field. Chris Mills tried everything to pass Ricky for a couple of laps, but then Ricky moved up a gear to pass Ben and take another 5-1 to extend the Tigers lead to 20 points.

Josef was on a tactical in heat 11, but it was André who led the way. Christian rounded Cooperman on the second turn but Paul rode brilliantly for the first two laps to repel every move Josef tried before managing to open up a comfort zone. Emiliano seemed to make a poor gate in heat 12, but then dived for the white line and emerged from the second turn leading the field! André and Ricky took their customary 5-1 in heat 13 with Josef seemingly unable to pass Grievesy. Kyle rounded the field to take the lead in heat 14 and complete his maximum while Paul was right on Chris Mills' exhaust but just couldn't get past. Kyle got the biggest cheer of the night when he fell off doing a celebration wheelie! Ricky and André completed the rout with another maximum finishing half a lap ahead of the Diamond pair.

Good to see Mark Thompson being given a chance, although he found the opposition tougher than in the Top Gun. By comparison in the Premier Trophy match back in March Benji scored his debut paid maximum!

Not much good to say about the Diamonds. Christian Henry shook off his heat 5 fall and was the pick of the visitors. Chris Mills tried his best and probably did better than Jamie would have, but the others didn't seem interested. Grievesy's paid 5 is one of his better Owlerton returns, but the only Tiger he beat all night was Mark Thompson!
