© Class Trend Ltd.  The Tigers opened with a comfortable 5-1 with Stanislaw Burza never even looking like catching John Oliver. Danny Warwick made a lightning start to lead heat 2 with his team mate on his back wheel as far as the third corner when Benji Compton wound it on around the outside to pass the pair of them. On the second lap Cooperman passed John, again on the third turn, and was well placed to take advantage of Danny's fourth turn error. Birko made a triumphant return to Owlerton streaking from the tapes to the chequered flag with Kyle hot on his tail but unable to catch him. Emiliano trailed home last and looked very pedestrian. André won heat 4 by a considerable margin but Benji was his opposite and was passed by Andreas Bergström on the first lap. Birko made another flying start to win heat 5 but Kyle and Emiliano shared the heat by making synchronous passes on the third turn to leave Stanislaw pointless again.

Ricky and Ben claimed another 5-1 in heat 6. Andreas went hard past his team mate on the first lap before reeling Ben in and nearly caught him napping on the pits turn on lap three. Birko got his hat-trick in heat 7 driving around André on the fourth turn after André had dived past entering turn three. Michal Makovsky passed Cooperman, also on the third turn and the Tigers lead was pegged back to 8 points. Heat 8 saw the margin reduced even further as first Benji fell on the third turn as he tried to pass John Oliver. Ben then made a hash of the start in the rerun resulting in him having a four lap tussle for second place with John Oliver with the advantage changing frequently but settling in Ben's favour thanks to an outside swoop around the last turn. Kyle rounded Andreas out of turn two to win heat 9 but Emiliano failed to make a move on John Oliver and trailed in last again. Michal trapped and led heat 10 as far as turn three when Ricky (outside) and Ben (inside) both passed him.

André made it look so easy as he streaked away to win heat 11, while Cooperman passed John Oliver on the back straight and then had his work cut out to stay ahead of him. Stanislaw ran another poor last. Birko was on a tactical in heat 12 and I fully expected Reg to rest Benji and give Cooperman another ride. I didn't expect Emiliano to make his first decent start of the night and then ride a wide line that seemed to stymie even Birko! Danny Warwick picked up his first point of the evening ahead of Benji. André and Ricky were never troubled in heat 13 with Andreas battling past Stanislaw on the third lap but well adrift of the Tigers. Michal was wearing the black & white in heat 14 and disputed the lead with Cooperman in the opening stages with Kyle swooping around the outside to make it three abreast into turn three. Michal emerged from turn four slightly ahead and then rode a good line to claim all six points with John Oliver failing to score for the first time in seven outings. Michal and Birko were the first to show in heat 15 but André swooped high and wide around the entire field to take the lead entering turn three while Ricky simultaneously hugged the white line but achieved a similar result. Michal's wide line on the pits turn took him back into second place but Ricky fought back on the second lap and then pulled clear.

Tai Woffinden was the pick of the two sides who contested the Junior challenge in the second-half. He passed Mike Pickering on the inside of turn three to win heat 1, Gary Flint on the outside of turn three to win heat 4 and won heat 5 from the tapes. Ben Hopwood left it until lap three before passing Gary Flint in heat 1 but was the convincing winner of heat 3 before breaking down in his last ride. Matt Browne wasn't quite his usual all action self but he went around John Morrison on the pits turn to claim second in heat 2 and picked up the vital second place to win the match in the last race. Jamie Pickard came so close to catching Gary Flint in heat 4 and was also struck by gremlins in the last heat.

The Borderers tracked Mike Pickering to replace Alan Ferrow, and Danny Warwick for Karl Langley, but Danny broke down in his second ride and withdrew from the meeting.
