As we waited for the TV cameras the light rain started. The Wolves won the toss and elected for gates 2&4. Kyle was electric from gate 1 and Robert tucked in
behind him for a glorious opening 5-1. Zach Cook off gate 1 won heat 2 with guest Connor Mountain and Jason out pacing Leon Flint for a share of the points.
Josh was on gate 1 and duly trapped to win heat 3. Chris kept the pressure on Leon but couldn't make a pass.
Jason followed suit by winning heat 4 from the inside gate from Leon off gate 2 with guest Richard Lawson pushing Leon but unable to get past.
Steve Worrall is off gate 1 in heat 5 but Josh off the outside gate goes wide then appears to lose his foot rest and takes a nasty looking high speed tumble
down the back straight ending face down on the entry to the third bend. After a few minutes being checked over he is thankfully able to walk back the pits. Chris
is out gated in the re-run but passes Steve on the inside of the pits bend at the end of lap 1, and then dives past Sam on the same turn two laps later.
Tigers lead by 8 on the night and 18 on aggregate.
Robert is off gate 1 and traps to win heat 6 from Zach with Kyle untroubled by Ryan in third place. Luke wins heat 7 (gate 1 again) with Richard and Connor
sharing the points ahead of Rory. Kyle makes light of the drizzle in heat 8 to become the first heat winner from gate 4! He winds it on around the outside of
the first two bends and leads down the back straight. Ryan is off gate 1 in heat 9 but Chris makes a super pass wide into turn three while Josh passes both of them
on the inside out of turn 4. Rory Schlein has the inside gate for heat 10 but Chris makes a pass on the outside into turn 3 while Kyle hugs the inside line to pass
both of them for a match deciding 5-1 to put the Tigers into the final. With the rain getting heavy and the match decided it was an early bath for all concerned.
Super guest Robert Lambert is already signed up for the finals. Could be interesting!

Gate 1 - 23pts 6 wins. Gate 2 - 16(+1)pts 2 wins. Gate 3 - 8(+2)pts 0 wins. Gate 4 - 13(+3)pts 2 wins.
