Top scorer Tobi Musielak Sheffield were missing both Jack, riding in a re-arranged Polish match and Kyle who injured his knee at Plymouth the day before. The Wolves called up Scott Nicholls to replace Luke Becker. Sam Masters and Steve Worrall took an easy 5-1 ahead of guest Nick Morris and David Bellego in heat 1. Lewis outpaced Zack Cook in heat 2 but Dan Gilkes headed Leon Flint for a heat advantage. Adam Ellis and Rory Schlein passed and repassed in heat 3 before the home rider pulled clear (Another featured race in '2023 Season Review' DVD by Clean Cut Sports). Lewis passes Scott out of turn 2 to lead heat 4 and then Tobiasz and Scott pass and repass each lap with the home guest getting the verdict. Another 4-2 and the Wolves lead by 4 points after heat 5.

Tobiasz traps ahead in heat 6 and Lewis goes high and wide to pass both Wolves down the back straight. Sam Masters battles back into 2nd but Tobi is long gone and Lewis does just enough to hold back Steve Worrall. Heat 7 is a shared heat but the Wolves take a 5-1 in heat 8 with Steve and Leon ahead of Dan and a very poor David. Tobiasz passes Rory and sets his sights on Ryan Dougles and after a high speed cut-back wins the race to the line in heat 9. Tobiasz is a tac-sub in heat 10 and traps ahead. Adam cuts back under the Wolves pair to join him at the front, but Sam responds to reclaim second place. After a couple of frenetic laps (See the DVD) it's another 4-2 to the Tigers. Wolves lead by 6.

Scott won heat 11 with Zack 3rd, and Rory won 12 with Leon at the back. Sam trapped ahead in heat 13 and came under pressure from both Tobiasz and Nick but held on for a shared heat with Scott at the back. Ryan Douglas takes Lewis at the start of the second lap of heat 14 and Zack claims 3rd ahead of Dan to open a 10 point lead. Sam lead away from the tapes but both Adam and Tobi are on his tail. Rory passes Adam on the 4th turn but Tobiasz is pressuring Sam. A lovely cut back gets him alongside Sam and he takes the lead on the first bend and holds on for a great win.
