After a good start the Rebels allowed the Tigers back into the match and they won all of
the last three heats to give a deceptive score line.
In the second half the Junior final was won by Nicky Allott from Aussie Tony Boyle, Chris Bevan and Rob Hollingworth. Reg Wilson was victorious in the Senior final ahead of Doug Wyer, Carl Glover and Trevor Geer. Sheffield Speedway anoraks were on sale at the kiosks priced at £3. Badges were 30p.
