2010 programme  Josh Auty assumed the mantle of No.1 for August and pushed team mate Hugh Skidmore home to record the Tigers first heat 1 advantage at Owlerton since the end of May (against Redcar). Simon Lambert trapped alongside Jan Graversen in heat 2 but Jan got out of shape on the second turn allowing both Tigers guest Michal Rajkowski and Lubos Tomicek through. Josef Franc led heat 3 but Taylor Poole passed Richard Hall exiting the second bend. Claus Vissing took Ricky Ashworth very wide into the first turn of heat 4. Lubos made a mistake on the second turn letting Ricky and Simon through, but then fought back passing Simon on the inside of the third turn. Pepe made another electric start to lead heat 5 and waited while Richard passed him on the pits turn before slotting in behind him for another maximum heat win leaving the Tigers twelve points ahead.

Claus was on a tactical in heat 6 and passed Josh exiting turn 2 to take the lead. Josh dived past into turn three but Claus swooped around him out of the pits turn. Josh tried the outside line out of turn two on the second lap to regain the lead and then pulled clear. Hugh tried every which way but couldn't get the better of Jan at the back. Ricky trapped and sped away to win heat 7. Michal passed the Potters pair wide on the third bend but Taylor Poole fought back out of turn two on the second lap. Michal swooped around him out of the pits turn and kept it very tight at the start of the third lap. Taylor nearly ran into him and baled out but then failed to clear the track resulting in the race being awarded. Hugh flew into an early lead in heat 8. Simon looked good for second but slowed into turn three (fuel starvation?) dropping right back before his engine coughed its way back to life. Richard was gifted the lead when Claus took Pepe half way to the casino entering the first bend. Josef tried a wide swoop out of the pits turn but Claus slammed the door in his face. Josh and Hugh gated ahead and were never troubled with Josh coasting from the last bend allowing Hugh through for the win. Tigers lead by twenty points.

Ricky led heat 11 but was passed on the outside by Michal and the inside by Ricky on the second turn and that's how they finished. Taylor was wearing the back and white in heat 12 but it was Lubos who took an early lead. Pepe powered around him into the third turn and pulled clear and Lubos slowed out of the final turn to let Taylor through for the extra points. Ricky trapped to lead heat 13. Josh lost second place to Claus out of the second turn, but dived back into the lead at the start of the second lap. Claus cut back to re-pass him out of turn two but Josh went around him (brave move) on the third turn and stayed wide to pull clear. Richard went from fourth to second around the first two turns in heat 14 and picked off Lee Smart on the third turn to take the lead. Claus trapped ahead in heat 15 and baulked Josh on the first turn. Josh carved his way past Richard and went looking for his maximum. Claus blocked a couple of inside moves so Josh went very wide at the start of the third lap and thundered around him down the back straight. Claus tried the same manoeuvre on the last lap but made a slight mistake on the second bend. Josh cleverly took his line on the third turn and Richard swooped around the pits turn to snatch second place on the run to the line.

The score line did not reflect the quality of the meeting as were treat to some excellent racing and Josh answered those who questioned if he could cope with the No.1 jacket with an emphatic maximum.
