My man of the match... Many thanks to Jack Smith for his efforts. Looking for a job? I'm sure our Jack would have done even better but it sounds like he's looking for someone with deeper pockets. What a crying shame. Josh Pickering's 4 points saw him only beat Chris Widman from the opposition so I'm sure Rob would have done even better. (Moral: Never do a deal with the shysters from Hoddesdon). Mr. Kurtz returns from his last three away matches (arguably the reason why we signed him) with a nine point accumulated total so this was a welcome return to something like form. Josh Bates had one of his better meetings for the Tigers and equalled his best home score of the season with some determined riding.

I personally would have nominated Lasse for heat 15 given that he had by then just dropped one point to Lewis Kerr, and then beat him again in heat 12. Kyle wasn't at the races tonight; beaten from the tapes by Jack Smith and Josh Auty in heat 3, out trapped by Tero Aarnio and passed by Michael Palm Toft in heat 10 and then being stitched up by Josh Auty on the first turn of heat 13 before retiring from last place. Hey! He's been fantastic this season and anyone can have an off day! Josh Grajczonek continued to look even more comfortable at home and sped to an accomplished five ride maximum and the adulation of the Owlerton massiv!
