Scunthorpe Programme  Steady was slow away from the start in heat 1 but passed David Howe on the 3rd turn and then drifted Andre wide on turn 1 relegating him to last place. Just what you need from your skipper! Taylor trapped and rode a great race to hold Thomas Jorgensen off in heat 2 and came out to do the same in heat 3 after Simon Nielsen had broken the tapes. It had the makings of a good match but hopes were dashed when Ty Proctor looked all at sea in his opening ride. Steady pushed past Ashley on the third lap to win heat 5 but Andre ran another last.

Ty was a poor third in heat 6 with Taylor behind him but Leigh won heat 7 with a good start from the outside gate. Simon couldn't find his past wild riding Ryan Douglas. Taylor passed both David and Thomas to lead heat 8 although Thomas regained his lead on the third lap. Ty and Taylor were well beaten in heat 9 as were Simon and Leigh (on a tactical) in heat 10.

Steady won his tactical ride in heat 11 and Andre clashed with Ryan on the last turn of the third lap with Ryan losing his composure and second place. Simon had a terrific scrap with Thomas and Ashley in heat 12 with the lead changing lap by lap. Simon dived through on the inside of turn 1 on the third lap as Thomas got out of shape on the outside and tumbled off. There were acres of empty track between them and Simon should definitely not have been excluded. Taylor was leading when the race was stopped, but trailed in third in the rerun after the break for the setting sun. Great scrap in heat 13 with Steady collecting his very first bonus point of the season! Thomas led heat 14 with Leigh hot on his tail but just not able to get past. Thomas slowed him up on the last lap allowing Josh Auty around them both to take the win. Ayatollah Vardy got her knickers in a twist and delayed heat 15 because Josh Bates was standing too close to the starting gate! With Josh's reigns shortened Steady managed to spoil Nikolai's maximum.

Good racing but just not enough application from the Tigers.
