Danny wins heat 1 but Josh doesn't manage 1 lap.... Ty leads heat 3 The Scorpions off the outside gates lead the way in heat 1 but Josh Auty grinds to a halt on the pits turn. Danny King seems reluctant to attempt an outside pass as the pre-match track watering had left things very sludgy.

The Scorpions gate ahead again in heat 2 with Broc right on Josh Bailey's exhaust but filled in if he tried to go around. Zaine trails in last.

Jason taped in heat 3 and Dave Peet elected to give him a 15m handicap. Ty leads the restart and Jason catches Kasper by the end of the first lap, but then retires on the second lap.

Heat 4 action Jake, Ty and Kasper, heat 7 Kyle leads the way in heat 4 but all attention is on the scrap between Jake and Zaine. Jake dives under Zaine into turn 3 on lap 3, Zaine regains 2nd into turn 1 but Jake goes high and wide off the last bend to snatch 2nd place.

Jason leads heat 5 from Danny and Drew but Stefan wastes no time and passes Drew at the end of the first lap. Danny never challenges but clings onto second place.

It's Kyle all the way from the gate in heat 6. Broc trails home last.

Jake leads down the back straight and wins heat 7 with Ty and Kasper in close pursuit.

Josh Bailey leads heat 8 but Zaine is climbing all over him while Danny Ayres snaps at his heels. Zaine and Danny change places on consecutive turns until Danny charges hard into the first turn on the last lap and sends Zaine flying. Danny is excluded but it is quite a while before Zaine is able to get to his feet and limp back to the pits, only to find his bike is a write-off. Jason takes heat 9 from tapes to flag. Kyle goes wide off turn four and Stefan Nielsen storms through on the inside. Kyle regains second but Stefan keeps the pressure on and gets the place back at the start of the last lap. Suddenly in the space of two races the Tigers now trail by 10 points!

Josh Bailey leads heat 8 just before Danny Ayers T-bones Zaine Danny King traps ahead in heat 11 and Kyle cuts back on the inside of the second bend to join him at the front. Jake is giving it all he has around the outside but making no impression. Kyle then suddenly decides to go wide and Jake is through on the inside in a flash!. Jason clears off to win heat 12 but the other three mix it all the way to the flag and it's a proverbial blanket finish. Kyle and Josh swap the lead in heat 13 for a couple of laps while Danny hangs onto third ahead of fence scraping Jake. Stefan traps and is gone in heat 14 with Kasper and Ryan contesting third place. Ryan's outside line takes him past on lap 3 and he charges after Ty and just missed second place by millimeters. Danny K goes through the tapes in heat 15 and Zaine takes his place. Kyle traps in the rerun, Josh A locks up exiting turn 2 and baulks Jason allowing Zaine through into second place. The Scorpions pair outflank Zaine into turn 3 on the second lap but never look like catching Kyle.
