2012 Programme Hugh Skidmore shrugged off last weeks crash and sped to victory in heat 1. Jason Bunyan and Pepe Franc were very close for a couple of laps before the visitor edged clear. Jason Garrity and Joe Haines clashed on the way to the first turn in heat 2 and Jason's bike took the brunt of the damage. It probably explains why he only reached the second turn in the rerun. Richard Hall sped to the front in heat 3 but Chris Schramm lost third place to Anders Melgren on the first lap. The Rockets make the gate in heat 4 and Emiliano Sanchez attempts to stay with them, which is more than can be said for his team mate. Richard is quickly away to win heat 5 but Chris cannot catch either Jason Bunyan or Charlie Gjedde. Tigers have a slender two point lead.

Pepe leads heat 6 from Hugh until Jordan Frampton claims second place at the start of the second lap. Ricky Wells wakes up to lead heat 7 but Joe doesn't like the look of the outside of the first turn and never makes up lost ground. Luke Bowen leads heat 8 but Hugh breezes past exiting turn two. Emiliano challenges down the inside into turn three but Luke closes the door while Jason Bunyan passes the pair of them around the outside. Emiliano passes Luke on the outside of the second turn but Jason is long gone. Jordan leads heat 9 but Chris is pushing and takes the lead as they start the second lap. Jordan fights back and edges clear at the start of lap three while Richard cannot catch Chris. Luke leads heat 10 until Pepe out drags him out of turn two. Hugh can't follow suit and is eventually passed by Anders on the run to the chequered flag. Tigers lead by six and the Rockets have their eyes on at least one match point.

Charlie leads heat 11 from Joe and Jason. Ricky passes Jason on the inside of the pits bend but Jason blasts back on the outside of turn two. He winds it trying to catch Joe but over reaches himself and clatters into the safety fence. Charlie takes an easy win in the rerun. Anders leads heat 12 from Chris. Emiliano passes Luke out of turn two but there is little in it. Anders retires entering turn three on the second lap and Chris inherits the lead. Luke passes Emiliano exiting turn two on the third lap but Emiliano fights back and an outside swoop on the pits turn gives him the advantage as they cross the finish line. Charlie and Jordan make the start to lead heat 13 but Josef splits them as they exit the second turn. He chases hard but cannot get past Charlie while Jordan is a constant threat just behind him. Joe traps to win heat 14 comfortably but Richard has his work cut out before rounding Anders on the second bend on the last lap. All three match points are secure but all the big guns are out for heat 15. Charlie leads from Pepe with Jordan in third. Pepe takes the lead as they start the second lap while Richard pulls out with a flat tyre at the start of lap three. The winning margin doesn't reflect a close meeting and there was some excellent racing.
