The heavens opened and drenched the track half an hour before the start. Fresh shale was laid on the starting gate but no further work was attempted. The Bears won the toss and elected for the inside gates for heat 1. Jan Graversen made an electric start to lead heat 1 but Josh Grajczonek and Lasse Bjerre both went for the same piece of track with the Dane taking a tumble. After Lasse received medical attention for his hand it was Jan again who led the way. Josh G rode a superb line to take the lead exiting the pits turn and Andre Compton just managed to hold off hard pressing Lasse to give the Tigers an early lead. Josh Bates has a good record at the Media Prima Arena but it was Arthur Sissis who gave chase but failed to pass Ben Morley in heat 2. Adam Roynon led heat 3 from Ashley Birks but Jason Garrity passed his partner on the second lap, and then Ashley went too wide on the last lap allowing Stuart Robson through into 3rd on the last bend. Ty Proctor showed he hasn't forgotten his way around winning heat 4 from the start, but slow starting Matej Kus was gifted second place when Josh B ventured too wide on the second lap. Josh G and Andre lead down the back straight in heat 5 and Stuart Robson hurtles into turn one on the second lap and loses control on the outside. The referee awards the race which had only just started the second lap(?) and at the one-third point of the meeting the Tigers hold a four point lead.

The Bears trap and Lasse holds off Ty in heat 6. Jan goes far too wide and is passed by both Tigers on the second turn but soon catches Arthur who stays ahead by riding a nice tight line. Matej traps to win heat 7 but Jason and Ashley share the points. Andre traps ahead in heat 8 with Josh B at the back. Jan again goes very wide on the second turn and Josh B passes him into third place and repeats the move on Ben Morley on the next lap. Arthur is mounted on Josh's bike for heat 9 but it was probably too big an ask and Ty wins the race by a big margin from Stuart and Adam. Tigers gate ahead in heat 10 but Lasse passes them both to lead down the back straight. Ashley is now looking fast riding the outside line in third place with Jan unable to catch him. Tigers looking comfortable with an eight point lead.

Matej leads heat 11 briefly until he is passed by both Josh G (outside) and Andre (inside) on the second turn. Into tactical territory at the last moment and its Stuart who emerges wearing the black and white helmet in heat 12. The race is rerun after Ben tumbles on the first corner and in the drizzle it is Ashley who traps ahead and rides high and wide to victory with Arthur pushing Stuart all the way home. The outside line seems to have come into effect now. Josh G gates ahead in heat 13 with Ty all over but unable to pass wide riding Matej. Lasse is tailed off at the back and retires after two laps. Jason traps to lead heat 14 and is joined at the front by Josh B who splits and passes both Adam and Ben down the back straight. Heat 15 sees Josh G take the lead with Ty on Adam's rear wheel exiting the pit bend. Ty goes for the outside pass on the first turn and slides gracefully into the fence, but remounts and gives chase.

An emphatic 18 point win for the Tigers with 10 heat winners between them in a good all round team performance. The pre-meeting downpour was obviously beneficial to the track and one of the home riders commented it was the best its been all season. Good to see Adam Roynon back in the saddle and winning races again.
