The Tigers took the lead in the first heat with Josh G and Todd Kurtz taking a 5-1 from Jack Holder and
guest Kevin Doolan. The Panthers took a 4-2 in heat four with Chris Harris outpacing Kyle, but the skipper
hit back beating Jack and our guest James Shanes ahead of Kevin to restore our four point lead in heat six.
Disaster in heat 8 when first Tom Bacon, then Georgie Wood and then Liam Carr all touched the tapes. Liam
had to take a 15m
handicap and could only watch from behind as James and Todd took another maximum win as the Tigers opened
an eight point lead. Kyle won heat 9 but Josh Bates had to withdraw suffering from after effects of last night's
tumble at Owlerton. Jack won heat 10 but the Tigers maintained their lead thanks to Lasse and James.
The Tigers just need shared heats now to take maximum league points. Chris beats JoshG in the race of the night
heat 11 and Todd shares the heat. Paul Starke wins heat 12 but Lasse and James again maintain the 8 point
lead. Kyle was uncharacteristically last in heat 13 behind Jack and Bomber but Josh saved the lead with a
brilliant win. Todd replaced JoshB in heat 14 and James replaced guest Georgie and they followed Ulrich
home to win the match for the Tigers. Jack and Bomber required a heat advantage to deny Tigers the fourth match
point but it was not to be as Josh led Bomber home and Lasse grabbed 3rd for a glorious 10 point away victory!
Many thanks to James Shanes once again, and while he didn't score young Georgie obviously impressed...
