Jack swooped from gate 4 around the field to lead heat 1 by half a straight and won in his fastest ever time around Owlerton. Kyle did
enough to keep Bomber at bay. Justin sped from the gate and out paced Benjamin Basso to win heat 2. With the starting gate u/s and the green
light used for starting Ulrich Østergård was allowed to get away with a flyer to win heat 3. Tobi and Connor fought back winning heat 4
but Hans Andersen, well behind, careered into the fence on the last lap dislocating his shoulder. Adam and Craig dominated heat 5 with Bomber
trailing the field again. Tigers lead by 8 points and the Panthers are down to 4 men and Bomber!
Scott Nicholls is IRR in heat 6 but Jack and Kyle make it 3 consecutive 5-1's. Ulrich gets another flyer in heat 7 but Tobi and Justin keep Scott
at bay. Chris Harris is r/r in heat 8 and he get's his act together to power around the field and Connor struggles to pass fellow RS Jordan Jenkins.
Seth Perkin is obviously an Ulrich Østergård fan and allows another blatant flyer in heat 9 but Adam is pushing on every bend and takes the
lead on the last lap. Craig was mixing it with Ben until his primary chain gave out on the third lap. Jack and Kyle take another maximum in heat 10
with Ulrich half a lap behind when he can't cheat at the gate. Tigers 14 points ahead.
The Panthers trap again in heat 11 and even Tobi can't pick his way past seasoned competitors like Ulrich and Bomber. Ulrich again(!) in heat 12
but Adam takes his third heat win and Connor takes third ahead of Ulrich on his fourth consecutive race. Jordan takes Hans' ride in heat 13 but even
Bomber can't live with the jubilant Tigers lads. Scott and Benjamin trap ahead of Craig in heat 14 and despite every effort he couldn't prize his
way past. Bomber took a consolation win in heat 15 despite Adam's every effort.
With any luck the same Stadium owners who brought forward "essential" maintenance which only allowed 2 meetings in July and imposed a ridiculous time
frame in which to reinstate the safety fence will now reciprocate and ensure the referee's switch panel operates correctly in future.
