Maximum man Tobiasz Musielak If the Panthers are still 'Dad's Army' then Benjamin Basso must be Pike! Following their 38 point drubbing in Manchester the Panthers were expected to come out fighting in order to regain some loss of face. Jack won heat 1 but Craig Cook trailed home last. Benjamin Basso won heat 2 with ease but Jordan Palin was off the pace. The Tigers broke the deadlock with Tobiasz Musielak winning heat 3 from Ulrich Østergård and Kyle Howarth out pacing Hans Andersen. Benjamin took Jordan's place in heat 4 and another win but Adam and Connor shared the heat with Chris Harris a poor last. Kyle passed Tobiasz to lead down the back straight ahead of Michael Palm Toft and Scott Nicholls. Tobiasz team rode until the end of lap three and Michael stole the odd point from team mate Scott on the last bend. Tigers lead by 6 points

Chris bounced back to win heat 6 from Jack and Craig. Adam took heat 7 from Ulrich and Hans, and Connor won heat 8 from Scott and Jordan; all shared heats. Tobiasz and Kyle combined again for another 5-1 ahead of Chris with the previously unbeaten Benjamin trailing last. Chris was a Tactical in for Hans in heat 10 and he won from Jack and Craig with Ulrich last and the Tigers lead by 10 points.

Michael passed Adam at the end of the second lap to win heat 11 and Scott's third ahead of Stefan gave the visitors their first heat advantage. Tobiasz made it 4 wins in heat 12. Adam took the lead on the back straight of heat 13. Michael powered under Jack turn 3 lap two but Jack teed up a glorious blast around the outside turn 2 on the last lap for a maximum heat win. Benjamin and Hans hit back with their own 5-1 ahead of Connor and Kyle in heat 14 leaving the Panthers requiring another heat advantage for the odd league point. Benjamin and Chris with 5 wins between them were Rob Lyon's choices. Tobiasz and Jack (with 5 wins between them) were Simon's. Tobiasz gated ahead of Chris but Jack engineered another audacious outside blast at the start of lap 3 and flew past Chris into second place down the back straight. Chris attempted the same on the last lap and all but destroyed the air fence by the tractors gate. Thankfully he was able to walk away.
