Hard working... The Tigers were on a hiding to nothing given the absence of Tobiasz who crashed in Poland over the weekend. Rider replacement generate just 4 points on a track which was made for Tobi. The Panthers had welcomed Bomber back with open arms and made him captain and he responded with 16 points at Owlerton. This obviously revitalized their team. To add insult to injury Dan and Jordan clashed on the second bend of heat 2. Jordan leaped to his feet bad mouthing Dan who was writhing in pain. Dan took an ambulance ride while Jordan came out for the rerun, and again in heat 4. By heat 7 Adam Ellis had finished last three times and the Panthers had opened a 10 point lead. Patryk Wojdylo was unbeaten at this stage and Jordan seemingly suffering a delayed reaction was withdrawn. (Nice one Rob).

Tai was in brilliant form and passed Niels-Kristian and out paced Bomber before following Lewis home for a 5-1 in heat 9. He was out as rider replacement in heat 11, tactical substitute in heat 12 and a programmed ride in heat 13 all of which he won! Josh trapped and clung on to win heat 14 leaving the Panthers 2 points behind on aggregate and needing a heat advantage to force a super heat. Niels and Vadim trapped and despite everything Tai threw at them the Panthers took a 5-1 AND the bonus point!

Just one point from Adam would have earned us the bonus point. A magnificent return from Tai but even he couldn't make up for a four man team!
