The Spires took an early lead and defended it up to heat 7 when they led by 8 points on aggregate. Three
consecutive 5-1's put an end to that. The Spires still stood an outside chance of winning the
bonus in the nominated heat, but Chris won and Jack passed Bomber to secure all three match points for the Tigers.
