This was the re-opening meeting at Cleveland Park in front of a crowd of 8,000.
First heat, first corner and the Bears new captain falls and breaks his leg!
The Tigers took the lead with a maximum from Stuart Hickman and Jack Winstanley
in heat 6 but the Bears fought back. The same Tigers pair took another maximum
to regain the lead in heat 9, and yet another maximum in heat 12 leaving Clive
Featherby to seal the victory with a fine win in the last heat.
