Following our recent win at Saddlebow Road the Stars were out to enhance their play-off chances. Josh Pickering and Richie Worrall's 5-1 gave the visitors
the lead in heat 3 after which the Tigers fought back and maintained their own 2 point advantage through to heat 10. Then three heat advantages gave us a
10 point lead until Richie and tactical substitute Josh got another maximum win in heat 14. Alex nominated them again for heat 15 and Richie led from the
start. Toby and Jack hounded him for three laps looking for both outside and inside passes. Toby scraped the fence out of the pit turn on the third lap
before diving up the inside into turn one on the last lap and into the lead. Meanwhile Jack was scraping the boards around the first and second turns and
blasted past Richie into the third turn turning the 3-3 into a glorious 5-1 as the stands nearly lost their roofs! Talk about sending the punters home
happy!
