The Tigers ripped into the Stars with 6 maximum wins in the first 9 heats. With Kyle riding for Leicester at Glasgow only Troy and the reserves could take his replacement rides but responded with 8+2, while the full team were available for Richard Lawson's rides and only accounted for 2+1. Danyon was on a paid max after his first three rides and showed a clean pair of heels to John Jorgensen in heat 6. Guest James Wright executed a superb second bend swoop to pass both Lewis Kerr and Kasper Andersen at the start of heat 7. Josh and Troy proved to be a dream pair with three 5-1's and they both claimed paid maximums. Adam had a very close encounter with the 3rd bend fence first time out but rode unbeaten thereafter. but the star of the show was stand-in captain Jack Holder with a magnificent 15 point maximum. 'War of the Roses III' on Thursday in the Play-Off first semi-final should be interesting!
