My man of the match Following three consecutive rain-offs 'Jupiter Pluvious' eventually smiled on the Owlerton faithful! Jack Holder made an electric start from gate 4 while ex-Tiger Tobiasz Musielak struggled from adjacent gate 3. Anders Rowe did likewise in heat 2 with Dan Gilkes trailing the field from gate 3. It was Chris Holder's turn to win from gate 4 in heat 3 with Josh Pickering rounding Michael Palm Toft out of turn two for a glorious 5-1. Tai Woffinden and made it four consecutive wins from gate 4 and Dan Gilkes followed him home for another maximum heat win with Vadim Tarasenko trailing in last with a sick motor. Tobi was off gate 4 in heat 5 but Chris made a blistering start from the inside and Josh from gate 3 again passed Michael at the start of the second lap. Tigers lead by eight points.

Kyle is off gate 4 and makes no mistake taking the lead with Jack following him home. Vadim again cannot manage the whole 4 laps. Tai traps to win heat 7 with guest Tom Brennan and Michael leaving Jason in their wake. Dan leads heat 8 from Vadim with Anders holding off challenging Kyle. On the third lap Anders goes wide into turn 1 and Kyle's inside line looks like making the pass until Vadim suffers yet another mechanical failure and Kyle runs straight into the back of him in a nasty looking crash. After an anxious few minutes both riders were thankfully able to walk back across the centre green. Josh makes a flying start to lead heat 9 with Chris challenging Tobiasz for second place. Jack wins heat 10 from gate 1 with guest Tom winning a heated scrap with Kyle for second place. Tigers now lead by 18.

Heat 11 sees high and wide riding Tobiasz win from Tai with Jason out pacing Patryk Wojdylo for a shared heat. Chris and Dan were untroubled after blistering starts in heat 12 as the rain started. Tai and Jack left Tobiasz trailing for another maximum heat win in 13. Thankfully the rain bated in time for guest Tom to take his first win in heat 14 ahead of Josh and Jason. Jack (paid maximum) was forgiven heat 15. Tobiasz blasted from gate 4 and rode high and wide to win from Chris and Tai and the Tigers win by 26 points.
Analysis of starting gate positions:
Gate 1 - 19(+1)pts 4 wins. Gate 2 - 12(+4)pts 1 win. Gate 3 - 10(+1)pts 2 wins. Gate 4 - 17(+2)pts 4 wins.
