2007 Programme   Topinka clipped the fence on the back straight in heat 1 allowing Ricky to pass him. The Tigers reserves gated ahead in heat 2 and while Adam Allott pressed guest Jordan Frampton for 3 laps passing never was his strong point. Daniel Nermark was leading heat 3 when he fell on the second turn gifting the points to the Tigers. Joel passed Adam on the second lap on heat 4 but couldn't catch Chris Mills. André sped into the lead in heat 5 with Cooperman passing Topinka on the pits turn to make it another 5-1 and the Tigers sitting on a 14 point lead.

Ben Wilson rounded the field to win heat 6 with Ricky claiming second spot. Daniel Nermark won heat 7 on a tactical ride but his partner Trevor Harding was passed by Jordan Frampton down the back straight. Ben Wilson took another win in heat 8 with James Cockle holding up under pressure from Paul Lee. André and Cooperman grabbed another maximum in heat 9, and Ricky won heat 10 from Daniel Nermark leaving the Tigers 25 points ahead.

Topinka got the better of Joel to win heat 11 and the 'Stars' pulled two points back with Paul Lee finishing ahead of Jordan. The lead was restored in heat 12 with André leading home from Daniel and James taking to odd point ahead of Adam. Ricky took the flag in heat 13 ahead of Topinka after trading places with him on every bend on the first lap. Joel was third ahead of Chris to extend the Tigers lead, but heat 14 was drawn after Trevor Harding made a lightning start. Topinka gated ahead in heat 15 but was passed by both Tigers down the back straight. A 31 point advantage to defend at Saddlebow Road in the second leg. We'll see what the Tigers are made of...

A dismal display by the team which finished at the top of the Premier League table. Four heat wins, and three second places was all they could manage. Have they run out of steam?
