Top scorer... The Witches were well placed to constitute a threat to our home record. They could watch the first match and analyse which were the best lines, and then take on a team whose riders and more importantly machines had already done fifteen heats. Danny King got a flyer in heat 1 but concentrated on baulking Josh on the first bend which allowed Jan to take the lead. Mark challenged briefly but Jan had the bit between his teeth. Josh failed to make up lost ground and retired on the last lap. Heat 2 and Nathan Greaves was keen to show us how much improved he was but he shed a chain on the starting line. Lewis Kerr and Lasse trapped ahead in heat 3 but Lewis coasted to a halt as they entered the third bend. Georgie made a beautiful start to heat 4 but the ref was having none of that. Second attempt and it's the visitors who lead the way. Kyle Howarth rounded Rory second bend lap 2 but Connor is riding a good line and Kyle is nearly caught by Rory as he tries for the lead. Kyle Newman is rider- replacement in heat 5, Lewis is left stranded at the tapes and Lasse holds off Danny for second place. The scores are level!

Josh bounces back with an accomplished win from Rory in heat 6, but after a poor start Jan is left chasing Nathan and given an extra lap would probably have passed him. KyleH takes a good win in heat 7. Jan shows first in heat 8 but is passed by high flying Rory at the start of the second lap. Lewis takes third and the scores are still level. Rory leads heat 9 but Lasse is hot on his exhaust looking for a way past. After several thwarted attempts Lasse exhibits a perfect switch back off the last turn to take the flag and the applause of the fans. Jan led heat 10 until passed by Mark on the second lap. Josh then passed his team mate but left it too late and just failed to catch Mark at the finish. Tigers hold a precarious two point lead!

Danny and Connor trap ahead in heat 11 and KyleH looks to have his set-up wrong as he makes little or no impression on the Witches pair as the visitors take the lead. The pendulum swings back in heat 12 with Lasse and Jan both passing Nathan on the back straight. Tigers back in front. KyleH seems to have his bike sorted as he powers around the field to lead out of turn two. Josh rides a tight line but Danny can't get near enough to do anything about it and Rory retires at the back in the early stages. KyleN gets the drop in heat 14 with Jan right on his exhaust. Jan pulls alongside out of turn four on the third lap and inched ahead out of turn two when KyleN's engine expired allowing Lewis through into second place. KyleH traps ahead in heat 15 but Josh blasts around the field and leads down the back straight. The pair then ride the wide line and never give Rory a chance while Danny retires in last place. What a way to finish, from 2 points down to 14 points ahead in the last four races!
