The Tigers suffer defeat at a chilly New Craven Park, but go one better than they did at Berwick so signs of improvement are there.

Sean took a tumble in heat 11 when Joel Parsons stopped right in front of him, but he finished second in the rerun and went on to win heat 13 despite his handsome features being spoiled by a gash to the nose. Ben had a quiet night but Richard improved as the meeting progressed and he won heat 12 after passing Lee Dicken on the back straight and Craig Branney on the home straight. Ricky grafted hard for his points and suffered an engine failure on the first bend of heat 15. André passed Lee Dicken while on a tactical ride in heat 9 but couldn't catch the flying Emil Kramer and he grabbed a 5-1 with Sean in heat 13. Paul Cooper won heat 2 and was usually in the thick of the action, but trailed home last when on a tactical ride in heat 12. Kyle made a good start to lead heat 8 until he caught a rut (already?) on the third lap allowing Emiliano Sanchez to get by, and he fell at the back in his last ride possibly trying too hard.
