Tonight's guest... Richie Worrall flew from the start only for Jim to bring all four back. Nike trapped to win the rerun. Arthur led away to win heat 2. Danny makes a mistake on the second turn allowing Nathan through to second. Aaron leads the way in heat 3 with the Josh's keeping Rene at the back. The visitors lead heat 4 but Kyle passes Danny on the third turn. Kyle is out again in heat and team rides with JoshB to leave the Tigers four points ahead on the night.

Richard wins heat 6 from Ricky and Fernando passes JoshA at the end of the first lap to eat into that lead. Kyle wins heat 7 comfortably but Arthur is trying so hard at the back of the field he gets untidy and ends up losing ground. Nike rounds JoshA on the second turn to win heat 8 but Danny tries the same line and nearly falls gifting a point to Nathan. JoshB swoops around the field to lead heat 9 and he and Ricky team ride to keep Richard behind. JoshA gates (HONESTLY!) and with Ricky following Aaron home the home Tigers now have an eight point lead.

Richie takes Kyle very wide at the start of heat 11 and half of that lead looked like going until Nike suffered engine problems. Aaron heads home JoshB in heat 12 with Nathan falling on the last lap when well behind. Richard wins heat 13 but Ricky and Kyle do enough to keep Richie last for a shared heat. JoshB leads the way in heat 14 but all eyes are on Rene and Arthur as the Aussie looked for an inside pass all the way but just missed out at the finish line. Kyle trapped to lead the nominated heat but JoshB was left chasing Aaron and sadly not making up any ground.

A poor night of racing resulting in an eight point lead. We took less than that to Byker in the Quarter finals and look what happened there, but seriously we really can't expect to get any further. Many thanks to our guests and even rider replacement for Simon (11) came up with the goods. Even the die hard Sheffield fans were wishing friends on the terraces a "Merry Christmas" and saying "See you next year".
