On a 'mushy' track following a lot of rain earlier in the day the fast starting Tigers did a good job of keeping the scoreline tight, indeed if Richard Hall hadn't fallen in the 3 man rerun heat 14 we would have been dead level into the nominated heat. Even so with André having breezed past Frede in heat 13 and Sean being on good form the clever money was still on the Tigers to steal a shock win. Rory Schlein made a flying start when it mattered and with his captain riding shotgun the Monarchs finished with a flattering 5 point win on the night, but the Tigers took the bonus with a massive 26 point aggregate victory.

Great riding from Andy Moore, and lots of credit to Richard and Ben, but James and Ricky both had meetings which won't feature in their scrapbooks.
