Joint top scorer Craig Cook Joint top scorer Tobiasz Musielak We beat the Aces by 16 points in the League Cup match, but they had subsequently strengthened their side with the inclusion of Grand Prix wildcard Matej Zagar. Having lost their unbeaten record to the Wolves last week the Tigers all got stuck in and far from struggling they increased the winning margin to 18!

Craig powered to the front in heat 1 with Jack blasting around him out of turn two and neither of them looked like being caught by Aces top man Max Fricke. Tom Brennan trailed home last as r/r in heat 1 but blasted high and wide to lead heat 2. Kyle was electric from the gate in heat 3 and expertly baulked Charles Wrights inside move entering turn 3. Tobiasz got stitched up on the first turn and couldn't find a way past Matej. Adam led heat 4 but it was German Norick Blörn keeping him on his toes and not Brady Kurtz. Max came up against Tobiasz and Kyle in heat 5 but the Tigers romped away to a 5-1 and a eight point lead.

Brady did the business in heat 6 and not even Jack or Craig could do anything to catch him. This inspired Matej and Charles who powered ahead of Adam for an Aces 5-1 in heat 7. Craig and Connor were headed for their own 5-1 in heat 8 but Charles traded second place with Connor for a couple of laps before pulling clear. Matej was tactical substitute in heat 9 but as the time-to-tapes ticked away Brady's chain self destructed. Tobiasz led from Kyle but Matej caught Kyle with an inside move on turn 4 and completed the pass into turn 1. Matej was back out with Charles in heat 10 but Craig flew from gate one and Jack blasted high and wide from 3rd to first by the back straight to a standing ovation. Tigers now lead by twelve points.

Max traps from the inside gate and wins heat 11 from Adam and Stefan. Tobiasz wins heat 12 from Tom but the talking point is Connor's beautiful inside pass at the end of the first lap and the perfect line to keep Grand Prix star Matej at bay. The big guns are out in heat 13 and Adam powers clear. Max is encouraged by his first win last time out and makes another inside move passing Jack on turn four, lap three. Stefan has some mechanical issue and falls on the first bend in heat 14. Kyle goes high and wide from gate 4 in the rerun leaving close friend Charles chasing. Max and Charles are Mark Lemon's nominations; Simon rewards Craig and Tobiasz who makes it four consecutive wins ahead of Max. Very enjoyable match!
