The Brummies won the toss and took the inside gates. Freddie Lindgren nudged Jack entering turn 1 allowing
Michael Palm Toft through into second place and the home riders stuck to the white line to take a 5-1. Kyle
ground to a halt on the first lap. Jason twitched at the start of heat 2 and Paco hit the tapes. He went off a 15m
handicap but never got into contention. Jason rode a nice tidy line to stay ahead of Leon Flint while Dan looked
to have more speed but couldn't pass Leon. Both Brummies hit the tapes at the start of heat 3 but the ref ruled that
there was a malfunction. Tight on the restart and Zach Cook takes Wiktor Lampart's front wheel away with Chris Holder
quick to bale out to avoid the mayhem. Third time lucky for Wiktor with Josh trying inside and outside lines to no
avail. Tom Brennan leads heat 4 but guest Max Fricke wind it all on around the outside and into the lead on the second lap.
Dan gets the better of Leon Flint and the Tigers get their second heat advantage. Wiktor makes an electric start
to win heat 5 with Jack hard on his heels but unwilling to commit to the outside line. Kyle is third and never troubled by
ex-Brummie Zach Cook. Brummies hold a slender 2 point lead.
Max and Jason gated ahead in heat 6 but Freddie got alongside Jason down the back straight to take second place. Max
went high and wide to win by quite a margin. Chris made a better gate and leads heat 7 but poor Josh cannot find a good line
and never troubles Tom so it's a shared heat. Dan traps from gate 1 to lead heat 8 and Kyle battles past Leon out of turn 4
for a maximum heat win to put the Tigers ahead for the first time. Ex Brummie Zach Cook dominates heat 9 and wins comfortably
from previously unbeaten Max while Jason keeps it neat and tidy to beat Wiktor for third. Josh gates ahead in heat 10 but
Freddie rounds the field to lead down the back straight. Chris cuts across Michael into turn 3 and it finishes as another
shared heat. Tigers now lead by 4 points.
Jack traps to win heat 11 but Tom and Paco close the door on Kyle. The Tigers skipper trades third place with Paco for a
couple of laps until Paco pulls clear. Paco is back out in heat 12 replacing Leon and it's the Brummies who trap ahead.
Paco goes wide allowing Chris and Jason to pass him. Wiktor looks to have the win sewn up until Chris draws alongside exiting
turn 2 on the last lap. Chris pulls a wheelie but brings it back under control but Wiktor was perhaps un-nerved because
Jason comes from nowhere to pass him on the run to the flag. Freddie leads the way in heat 13 but Jack and Max fill the
remaining placings. The outside isn't working any longer and Max is frustrated. Sam Ermolenko drops Paco from heat 14 in
favour of Freddie who uses Leon's tyre. The Brummies make the gate and Freddie is happy to follow Zach home while watching
Josh who just can't get into contention. Sam nominates Zach and Freddie for heat 15 but they require a 5-1 to force a super heat.
Simon chooses Max and Jack and the inside gates which means Freddie has the option of a wide swoop around the first turns.
It's Zach who traps ahead of the Tigers pair and Freddie who is left trailing. Jack keeps pressure on Zach around the white line
while Max goes high and wide leaving Freddie with no opportunity to pass and the shared heat gifts the away win to the Tigers.
