Joachim Kugelmann was taken ill before the meeting with a nasty case of food poisoning which meant Chris Schramm was kept busy as he took seven rides. Sean dominated heat one with Adrian Rymel resisting Ben's attempts to pass him for the first couple of laps before opening a clear lead. Trevor made a blistering start in heat 2 and Paul tucked in behind him soaking up everything that Chris Schramm had to offer. Ricky flew from the start to win heat 3 with Richard comfortable in second and Scud surprisingly tailed off at the back. André took a tapes to flag win in heat 4 ahead of Owlerton debutant Piotr Dym but Trevor was outpaced by Chris Schramm at the back. Ricky made another electric start to win heat 5 and Richard just couldn't find the drive to challenge Adam Pietraszko.

Sean trapped in heat 6 with Ben ahead of Piotr but unable to catch Chris Schramm. Scud made a lightning start to heat 7 and moved André out on the first turn to lead down the back straight. That was as long as it lasted though as André dived through and into the lead on the third turn. Paul was well off the pace at the back and subsequently found he had a puncture. Adam was on a tactical in heat 8 but Ben dominated from the start and never looked like being caught. Ricky and Richard took another maximum in heat 9 which put the Tigers ahead on aggregate by the odd point, and with Sean winning from Michal and Ben easily outpacing Scud in heat 10 the lead was extended.

André won heat 11 with ease but the heat was shared with Paul suffering another puncture, and heat 12 went the same way with Chris Schramm and Scud ahead of Trevor but all three of them trailing in Ricky's wake. Scud's tactical points reduced the Tigers aggregate lead back to just one point, but the Tigers top pairing were never troubled in heat 13 on their way to another 5-1. Paul Cooper made a good start to lead heat 14 with Chris Schramm climbing all over him. They traded the lead on each corner for the first two laps until Paul looked as if he'd gained the advantage when Michal Makovsky came from nowhere with a huge 3rd bend dive to take the lead. His move unsettled Chris allowing Richard Hall to close in and indeed he followed Michal's example passing Chris with a carbon copy 3rd bend move a lap later. Perhaps Chris' previous six races were taking their toll? With the Bandits requiring a 0-5 to tie the match Reg left nothing to chance and the Tigers top pair flew into the lead for another 5-1 with André scraping the fence to complete his third full maximum of the season.
