Ricky Wells won the toss and selected 1&3. Guest Christian Henry led briefly but was passed by Ricky Ashworth into the third turn. Alex Edberg took the last point ahead of guest Matthew Wethers. Hugh Skidmore rounded Lubos Tomicek on the second turn for a comfortable win in heat 2 but Joe Haines never looked like troubling Jason King at the back. Matthew Wethers took Richard Hall's r/r in heat 3 and an early lead but went too wide on turn four allowing Lee Complin into the lead. On the same turn David Bellego did the same to Chris Schramm turning a 2-4 into a 4-2. Hugh was back out again in heat 4 replacing Joe Haines but Seb Alden took a comfortable win with Jason King denying Ricky Wells the remaining point. Matthew and Christian were outpaced from the tapes in heat 5 with David and Lee speeding to a 5-1 and an eight point lead.

Joe takes a flyer in heat 6 but Darren calls all-4-back. Second attempt and Alex bales out aggravating existing injuries. Third attempt sees Ricky cruise home for a 3-3. Lubos leads heat 7 and Sebasian rounds Chris on the fourth bend to join him in a 5-1 before passing his team mate to steal the g;ory off the last bend. Christian Henry is given a joker for heat 8 Lubos anticipates the start and snares his helmet on the tapes to earm himself a 15m handicap. Christian and and Joe don't put a foot wrong to reduce the Bandits hard fought lead. Hugh falls on the frst bend of heat 9 but remounts and David wins from Wells but Lee grinds to a halt on the very last bend and with the chain fouling the back wheel he can't even push home gifting the point to remounted Hugh. With rain now falling Chris and Wells trap ahead in heat 10 but Ricky from gate 3 dives for the inside and leads down thde back staight. Bandits lead 34-29.

Sebastian wins heat 11 by half a straight but Lubos trails the Sheffield guests for another shared heat. Lee traps ahead in heat 12 but Hugh takes the lead and Chris tucks in behind him. Lee goes high and wide to retake second place and despite his best efforts just cannot get the drop on leader Hugh. The rain has abated and its Ricky who leads heat 13. Ricky gets the inside line to pass Sebastian out of turn two and Matthew battles aroundn him on the last lap for another shared heat. The Tigers reserves gated ahead in heat 14 but David passes Hugh down the back straight. Hugh goes high and wide around the 3rd and 4th bends to retake second place and holds him off to the flag leaving the Tigers one point ahead with one race to go. Ricky Ashworth sped from the tapes into the lead and then closed the door on the chasing rider out of the second bend. Unfortunately it was his team mate Sebastian Alden who bounced off the safety fence and subsequently retired gifting the Tigers a most unexpected away win.
