Excellent guest Cameron Heeps The track preparation saga continues. Showers were predicted from 4pm onwards, so the obvious course of action was to give the track a thorough drenching. The Bandits trapped in heat 1 and Danny K was filled in and unable to do anything. Broc trapped in heat 2 but misjudged the slimy conditions and went from 1st to last on the second bend. Nathan Greaves isn't the smoothest of riders but he was all over the track before he fell on the second lap gifting Leon Flint second place. Dany Gappmaier trapped ahead of Cameron Heeps and Kevin Doolan with Drew looking disinterested at the back in heat 3. Kyle attacked the track in heat 4 but Nathan repeated his heroics from heat 2. Kevin took the lead out of the second bend in heat 5 but Cameron went around him out of turn 4 and pulled well clear. Drew on the other hand fell at the end of the second lap. Bandits looking good with a 10 point lead and no last places!

Kyle joins Danny as a tactical in heat 6. Nikolaj falls on the apex of the 3rd/4th turns and is trapped by his bike but the referee doesn't stop the race until the track staff had red flagged the passing riders one full lap later! The Tigers pair make no mistake in the rerun. Kyle leads heat 7 from Dany G, Nikolaj and Broc. Nikolaj lifts on the fourth turn and Broc takes third place, but then Kyle loses a chain on the second lap. Nathan gates ahead in heat 8 and Kasper takes the lead at the start of the second lap. Nathan wobbles his way around but Kevin is unable to make the pass. Cameron leads heat 9 from Nikolaj. Drew holds off Jordan for a couple of laps until Jordan retires at the start of lap 3. Jordan is back out in heat 10 as rider replacement but Danny takes an easy win. Kasper trails home last but the Tigers have pegged the Bandits lead back to 2 points.

Kyle and Drew lead heat 11 but Aaron is just waiting for the right moment and takes second place at the start of the last lap. Cameron does a fine job to win heat 12 from Jordan and Dany with Nathan retiring after two laps. Heat 13 was a 5-1 to the Tigers and the Tigers lead for the first time. Dany G comes into heat 14 as rider replacement and is joined by Jordan who replaces Leon. The Bandits trap and Drew retires on the first lap. Level scores into the last heat. Danny K and Kyle have choice and take the inside gates, but Dany G powers into the lead. Danny keeps up the pressure while Aaron is tailed off at the back. Danny K makes an inside pass on the second turn of lap 3 to the delight of the home supporters.

Many thanks to Cameron Heeps (pictured) for a fantastic performance which probably was better than Ty would have managed, but Zaine would have undoubtedly out scored his replacement. Jordan was a great choice and probably went better than Coty would have. No meeting next Sunday so fingers crossed Zaine will be back in action after that.
